The beach is universal, an endless exchange of timelessness and treasure. My interiors are inspired by the shore and its unique generosity and ease — at the same time as they reflect the tastes and lifestyles of my clients.

ABOUT LINDA
Washington State native Linda Walsh grew up on the stunning shores of Puget Sound — and in the culturally rich urban Tehran of the 70s.
Her travels since childhood have led her to nose around the flea markets of Paris, drink in the boutiques of New York City, and vacation along welcoming Polynesian shores with her family. Life by the shore dominates her imagination and inspires her designs.
Linda's encompassing sensibility, gentle nature, and unerring eye are the foundation of Marmalade Island, which offers products which celebrate the casual grace, tactile ways, and sometimes transporting wonder of life at the water's edge.
Linda's approach is conservation-based: Using the pieces you own and incorporating your treasures within a larger vision of function and ease is the starting point. Auction houses as well as design showrooms provide the rest, bringing practical luxury to your spaces in a way that respects your budget, the integrity of the materials, and your enhanced joy in your home.
